HatchKit is a graphical hatch pattern editor for editing existing patterns or creating new patterns either directly or upon receipt of a pattern template sent directly from Autodesk® Revit®. The HatchKit Demonstration Version allows trialling HatchKit while unregistered. Note: any patterns built with the HatchKit Demonstration Version are modified to contain the word 'HatchKit' but licensed versions do not watermark patterns. The HatchKit Add-In for Revit is bundled with this HatchKit Demonstration Version.
The HatchKit Add-In provides hatch pattern management to Revit and directly interfaces to any installed version of HatchKit to access its full functionality. Use the HatchKit Add-In for Revit to manage a project's currently loaded patterns: •view/edit large, zoomable pattern samples with a DoubleClick •move, scale and rotate existing patterns •edit a pattern's name, type or orientation directly within the displayed table. •delete individual patterns from the project (excepting SOLID). •purge all unused patterns from the project. Also contains project files with worked fill template examples for Revit 2016. Installing a licensed version of HatchKit replaces the Demonstration Version.
About This Version Version 3.1.10 / 2.1.2.2016, 6/27/2017.
A pattern file is a text file that contains definitions for model or drafting patterns in a project. The file must be saved with a PAT extension.

In a typical installation, a number of sample PAT files are installed and can be used to create custom fill patterns. The sample PAT files can be found here:%ProgramFiles% Autodesk Revit LT 2015 Data • revit.pat • revit metric.pat%ProgramFiles% Autodesk Revit LT 2015 ACADInterop • acdb.pat • acdbiso.pat If you create a custom pattern file for Revit LT, it can be stored in any location. After Revit LT imports information from the pattern file, the actual file is not referenced. If your organization develops a PAT file containing standard patterns to use in projects, you may want to store the file in a network location for easy access by all Revit LT users.
For information on using a custom pattern file, follow the procedure in.
