Bulk Mail Software Linux. I tried Necrodancer on a pad, it's not really good for that, there's no flow to the steps, it's just left left left left down up down left left left left right. Repeated same arrow steps just suck, gameplay-wise. As for other games, I'm not really aware of any games utilizing a dance pad other than Stepmania or ITG.

In my opinion, dance pads are great for one thing, machine dance. There are lots of free packs of songs available to download, although quality of songs varies, and some of them are made for the keyboard or something because they are impossible otherwise. As for dance pads, I wouldn't really go for a hard pad, unless you're a machine dance pro. They're just too expensive to be worth it.

I have been playing ITG for years (for fun and for exercise) and I still use the Positive Gaming usb soft pad. If your floor is slippery, you might want to consider putting some no-slip material underneath to add grip. I use a very thin yoga mat for this purpose. This setup allows me to play songs up to difficulty 9 on expert, only consider a hard pad if you are more skilled than this. It's really not like the zip-up ignition pads, it's very low profile, only squares of very thin foam in the arrows so you can feel where you are, feels very solid on the floor and not mushy.

I looked around a little, and it seems they are not that well available. There's one web shop in Finland (where I'm from), but I doubt it will help you much. X) Before having two of these, I used to have some very cheap soft pads from China, those had to be taped down and they eventually broke down when the top part of the pad started sliding around on the bottom part. The Impact soft pads have lasted on-off use for at least 7-8 years now, so at least for me, they're tried and true. Of course, as with all soft pads, never use shoes, only socks (my preference) or bare feet.
